This most played MMORPG(massively multiplayer online role-playing game) game boasts an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most played online game. The total number of players has exceeded 12 million. The game was developed by Blizzard Entertainment in 2004, following the Warcraft strategy. And it\’s a real auf hit.
The game\’s engaging story, open world with thousands and thousands of possibilities, elaborate graphics and flamboyant heroes, from the mighty Orcs to the tiny Gnomes, bind the player to the screen with tight shackles and completely engross him. You can play on both paid and unpaid servers. The fact that a total of 6 expansions have been released shows that this is a truly popular game. However, everything has its downsides. It is surprisingly easy to succumb to this gaming demon.
Warhammer 40k series
This very brutal game has earned its place in the hearts of gamers all over the world. This predecessor to World of Warcraft, from developers THQ, is set in the very distant future. It\’s a future filled with violence, bloodshed, corruption and uncertainty. It is the fortieth millennium and an empire of humanity rules the galaxy. Bloody wars between stars over entire planetary systems are the order of the day. Wars in which millions of soldiers die daily across the galaxy on all opposing sides.
There are no alliances and the empire of humanity stands alone against all. And that\’s all the game has to offer. Rich game history and unrelenting brutality. Will you lead your armies to victory, or will you be forgotten defeated on one of the battlefields? That\’s up to you.
Diablo series
When the first Diablo came out in 1996, no one knew the frenzy Blizzard Entertainment had created in the world. The game captivated millions of gamers with its sophistication, gloomy atmosphere and loads of loot. Everyone was expending, collecting equipment and preparing mentally and gaming-wise to fight the main bad guy, Diablo. When Diablo 2 came out in 2001, with an even more elaborate story, the madness was repeated.
The old familiar loot, new items and quests with the scope of the game for many hours made many a parent wince when their child sat in front of the computer on their days off. After the dismal success of Diablo 3, Diablo is still rightly considered a gaming legend.
